Standing water
Ponding that appears every spring and lingers is the Flathead Valley's signature complaint — high groundwater plus flat or bowl-shaped grading. Some standing water is a grading fix; some is groundwater that grading can't cure, which changes what's worth spending. Telling the two apart is the first job.

Is standing water always fixable?
Surface-shaped ponding usually is. Where the water table itself surfaces seasonally, the honest fix is working with it — raised grades, wet-tolerant use of that ground — not fighting it.
