None of this is required to make contact. It is simply what turns a rough conversation into a real number faster, because these are the variables that actually move a price:
- The property address, and roughly how many acres are involved
- What is on the ground now — brush, small conifer, mature timber, deadfall, structures
- How equipment would reach the work, and the narrowest point on the way in
- Whether anything sits near a stream, a lakeshore, or a power line
- What you want the ground to do afterwards — build on it, graze it, mow it, sell it
- Any plan, permit, or assessment already written for the parcel
What happens next
Most projects need eyes on the ground before a number means anything. Photos and a description get the conversation started and rule out the jobs that are not a fit; a site visit is what settles access, terrain, and how the cleared material gets handled.
If a scope turns out to sit outside what we self-perform — a septic system installation, a live utility connection, an engineered retaining structure, or work inside the minimum approach distance of an energized conductor — we will say so rather than take it on. Knowing that early is worth more to you than a quote that quietly assumes otherwise.
